The war situation in Severodonetsk, Ukraine, is changing by the hour. Russian and Ukrainian forces are fighting for control of the city.
"The situation is changing every hour, but at the same time there are enough troops and weapons to repel the attack," said Oleksandr Strike, mayor of Severodonetsk.
"We have hope, we have faith in our armed forces, no one will back down," he said.
A few days ago, it was thought that Moscow would quickly occupy the eastern Ukrainian city of Severodonetsk. But Ukrainian forces are still in control of the city.
Earlier on Monday, Volodymyr Zelensky said, "Our heroes are holding their ground in Severodonetsk. Fierce fighting continues on city streets. '
